Good thing god is a lie otherwise that sounds bad.
December 25th, 2008 at 8:11 pm
watch out you might not make it there yourself. You yourself probably are many of the things you think others are. we can never stop sinning neither can you. why? its a part of human nature. take a good look at yourself and repent.
December 26th, 2008 at 6:30 am
people are made in Gods image and with freewill start sinning,, any one can stop!
and all people will be judged according to their works
according to you people cannot stop sinning so it would be illogical to repent

What is John C leading anyway ??
A church ? I dont expect many leadership challenges there
This business he is in to is more about story telling. I have met people u worship this guy and they are only talkers .. they have stabbed ppl in the back, they have driven their companies and teams to the ground.

I dont know about Maxwell or his followers, but there are tons of leadership challenges in operating a church. You are trying to convince hundreds of people to listen to you, take your advice, and live a certain way. That takes great leadership.
June 29th, 2009 at 12:41 am
For me the challenge would be to do this to people who havent taken out time to come and sit and listen to me. That was the point I was going for.
Anyways I didnt mean to drag the church into this, the aim was questioning Maxwell’s credentials. I do know that people in church are there to get guidance and direction from someone they know understands religion more than them (priest,pastor).. and that does not appear to be a leadership challenge to me.But I am open to more comments or info.
Thanks

So you don’t think that “guidance and direction” has anything to do with Leadership?
June 29th, 2009 at 11:17 pm
Our discussion so far has evolved to discussing ‘Leadership Challenge’ not just leadership. What I am saying is that people coming to you themselves and listening to you does not have a ‘Leader Challenge’ with it…the speaker can utter anything … it doesnt say anything of how good a leader/speaker that person is.

So what would be some Leadership Challeges to you?
July 2nd, 2009 at 6:25 am
different types of leaders
. A leader facing a challenge would have odds against him(a challenge to begin with), the sort who would take the first plunge and make others follow. contd…
1-The prepare to become leaders and are placed at places of leadership
2-That strive to become leaders
3-The ones that have consequences hand leadership to them.
Johnny falls in category 1, dad was a pastor so is he and now he thinks he is a leader coz everybody came to listen where they listened to his dad

The sort who would have followers act on a common ideology. At best johnny is a good narrator of good ideas…not a leader who’s seen leadership challenges.
July 16th, 2009 at 11:16 am
The challenges of leading a church may be significantly more challenging than leading a company. The difference being that in company one’s position is “positional” whose followers or obliged to follow in order to receive a paycheck. Whereas church leaders must lead people whose presence and actions are purely voluntary. To be effective a church leader must lead completely by example and his entire life must demonstrate it.

A leader is a great Leader when his followers can say…”I did it myself”.
July 17th, 2009 at 4:13 am
hey ya mattie, earlier me and scott were discussing leadership challenges and what u said is somewhat already answered in the above messages.
) scott would u like to join us- “toast to good health and respect”
The aim of bringing up johnny’s work as pastor was to specifically hit johnny’s work and what leadership challenges has he faced. now we are heading towards debating over the revered position of the pastor, from which i would decline.
So please raise ur glasses (orange juice in mine
